玛雅•米蒂克（Maja Mitic）
玛雅•米蒂克导演毕业于塞尔维亚的贝尔格莱德艺术学院，现任尼什爵士戏剧节的艺术总监和甄选人。她有超过三十年的专业戏剧工作经验，从事过演员，导演，编舞，戏剧构作和大学教授的工作。从1983年到1991年间，她先后在贝尔格莱德国家剧院，诗歌剧院和Terazije等剧院工作。1985年参演电影《魅力》饰演女主角。2000-2001年，Maja作为美国爱荷华大学的访问教授，从2009年至今，她被聘为英国伦敦金史密斯大学的客座教授。
玛雅也曾任教于加州艺术学院，布朗大学，芝加哥艺术学院等英美大学。

Maja Mitic graduatedfrom Belgrade Academy of Art, Serbia.
Maja is the Artistic director and selector of International Nisville Jazz Theater Festival.
She has been working professionally within theatre for more than 30 years,as actress,director, choreographer, dramaturgand professor.
From 1983 to 1991 she worked in several theatres in Belgrade including the National Theater, Theater of poetry, Terazije Theater, etc.
In 1985 she played the main female role in the film Charmer.
2000-01Maja was a visiting professor at the University of Iowa ,USA.
Since 2009she is a visiting professor at Goldsmiths University in London,UK. She goes there every year to give courses to their postgraduate master students.
Maja has also beenteaching and being artist in residence at universities such as: CalArts, Brown,Chicago Institute of Art, and many others in both USA and the UK.
In 1991 she became a funding member ofDAH Theater in Yugoslavia (now Serbia). Dah Theatre is the first professional theatrelaboratory in this part of the world who’s main method of working is DEVISED THEATRE where performance score originates from collaborative, often improvisatory work by a performing ensemble.The work of DAH Theatre has been praised both nationally and internationally.Maja Mitićis still part of the artistic core of DAH Teatar where she has made more than 50 performances and projcets. DAH Theatre has been active for many years now, nationally and internationally, in organising workshops, lectures, seminars, festivals etc. Maja participates actively both as an actress, a producer and as a teacher.
In 2011-12Maja was the Director of the project IN-Visible City. This project was the first time that Serbia implementeda leading partnershipwithin EU Culture.
In 2012-13Maja became the Artistic Director of the project: Empowering young women in monitoring the implementation of the law on gender equality in EU IPA. This projectrealised3 stage productions and 11 documentary films.
Maja was the movement director & choreographer of the performance: ”Deadline“and ”I grew almond tree“ (2018) ”Zojka’s apartment“, Bulgakov (2017) atBelgrade Drama Theater,“The Merchant of Venice“(2017)Drama Theater Skopje,”Mourning befits Electra“-ART Media and MOB in Macedonia.
She publishes articles and essays at various theatre magazines in the country and abroad.
