她作为表演及导演教师执教于NATFA(保加利亚国立戏剧及电影学院)的同时,也在索菲亚及保加利亚各大专业院团执导作品。1996至2010年担任ELIA(欧洲艺术研究联盟)主席会成员。 (UNESCO-ITI Chair “Theatre and Culture of Civilizations”); 世界戏剧学院协会(World Consortium of Theatre Schools); 全球戏剧学院联盟 (GATS,Global Alliance of Theatre Schools)等组织发起的活动。这些活动项目均旨在促进世界范围内的高等艺术教育,尤其注重在戏剧院校,专业院团,艺术研究机构以及社会之间开展交流与合作。

My educational background was rooted in the great tradition of Russian and East European Theatre. After 1989 alongside with teaching and directing in Bulgaria, I traveled a lot to study and work on a variety of educational and professional projects in Europe, US, China.
As theatre director I am particularly interested in staging texts by contemporary playwrights which speak about the human condition. During the last twenty five years I introduced to Bulgarian professional stage emblematic works by some of the most prominent contemporary playwrights: David Mamet; Tony Kushner, Eric Bogosian; Neil LaBute; Caryl Churchill; David Hare; Eric Emmanuel Schmidt, among others.
I am proud to be part of an artistic community that was persistently and with perseverance asserting the importance of theatre as an art which connects live to the audience and brings people together, which values human dignity, justice, and mutual understanding. Those are the leading principles of  my work as academic, and theatre professional as well.
I believe in the idea that education, especially the higher arts education is a human right which enhances change and progress through stimulating and encouraging creativity, innovation and independence of thinking and expression. My acting and directing students follow a rigorous training program which is the ground for their formation not only as highly skilled theatre professionals, but as individuals with active and responsible position in society. During the course of their studies they work on texts by Shakespeare, Moliere, Chekhov, Ibsen, Brecht, Beckett, Ionesco, Pinter – playwrights who trace new paths in the domain of drama and theatre.
I had staged theatre productions in Sofia and at other professional theatres in Bulgaria, and I teach Acting and Directing for Theatre, being an artistic leader of a class of acting and directing students at NATFA.
I was elected and served as a member of ELIA (European League if Institutes of Arts) Board and Executive Group for ten years in the period 1996-2010.
For the last 25 years I was actively involved in various national and international projects and events (workshops, masterclasses, festivals) initiated and executed by organizations as: OLIVE (Network of Mediterranean Theatre Schools); UNESCO-ITI Chair “Theatre and Culture of Civilizations”; World Consortium of Theatre Schools; GATS (Global Alliance of Theatre Schools) among others, that aimed to promote higher education in the arts worldwide, with a special focus on the collaboration between theatre education, professional theatre, arts institutions and society.
