玛丽莎•巴哈尔(Marissa Béjar)
玛丽莎•巴哈尔,舞台导演,学者,秘鲁天主教大学(PUCP)表演艺术系戏剧导演专业副教授。作为一名戏剧导演,她常年在利马和纽约执导戏剧演出,并曾受邀赴世界知名的戏剧中心访学研究,如林肯戏剧中心导演实验室、意大利圣米尼亚托欧洲演艺学院、英国伦敦皇家宫廷剧院剧作家与导演国际协会,西班牙马德里美洲剧作家和导演国际协会等。她同时经常参与世界国际戏剧学术会议,参与世界前沿的戏剧艺术的学术研究和探讨,比如哈佛大学的梅隆戏剧与表演研究学院,德国科隆大学和西北大学组织的科隆夏季研究所,达拉斯和巴尔的摩的美国戏剧研究协会,以及上海的国际表演研究研讨会等。
在秘鲁天主教大学,她任教于表演艺术学院,艺术与交流学院,以及研究生院的视觉人类学硕士项目。她的研究兴趣丰富多样,包括跨文化表演,戏剧与全球化,包含新媒体与技术在内的当代舞台作品,另类与非常规场域的舞台演出,声音研究,以及感官人类学。

Marissa Béjar
Marissa Béjar is a stage director, a scholar, and an Assistant Professor at the Performing Arts Department at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). As a stage director, she has she has staged plays in Lima and New York; and has been awarded important scholarships to attended renowned stage directing residencies such as the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, the Scuola Europea per l’arte dell’attore, in San Miniato, Italy; the International Residence for Playwrights and Directors at The Royal Court Theatre in London, U.K., and the International Residency for Playwrights and Directors at Casa de América in Madrid, Spain. She has also been a participant at prestigious international artistic-academic conferences and schools in the area of communications, theater and performance, as the Mellon School of Theater and Performance Research at Harvard University, the Summer Institute Cologne, organized by the University of Cologne and Northwestern University, the American Society for Theatre Research conferences, at Dallas and Baltimore, and the Performance Studies International conference, at Shanghai.
 
At PUCP, she teaches at the School of Performing Arts, the School of Arts and Communications, and the School of Post-Graduate Studies, in the Master´s Program of Visual Anthropology. Her research interests are varied and include intercultural performance, theater and globalization, contemporary stage productions that involve the use of new media and technologies, staging in alternative and unconventional venues, sound studies, and anthropology of the senses.
 

Mrs. Béjar holds a BA in Sociology and a Professional Diploma of Theater, both from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú; a Master of Arts in Media Studies and a Film Production Graduate Certificate, both from New School University in New York City; and is student in the Doctorate in Sociology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where she is working on her dissertation about the theatrical field in contemporary Lima.
